Lemon is a light, citrus oil with stimulating, calming, carminative, anti-infection, astringent, antiseptic, and antifungal properties. It’s most common use is in skincare, especially for oily and spot-prone skin, and can be used neat on spots as an alternative to tea tree oil. It can also be dissolved in a teaspoon of grain alcohol and added to water for a homemade spritz or toner to cleanse and reduce oil on skin. It’s excellent for calming nausea, and can be added to carrier oil and used for massage to reduce nausea, and is excellent added to bath water or burners and diffusers for a light, refreshing and stimulating scent.

Our lemon oil is produced in Italy and is cold-pressed.

It is safe for children and in pregnancy, but be aware that all citrus oils can increase photosensitivity, so do not use on skin before going out in the sun, especially with children.
